Timewyrm: Apocalypse- Part IV

The Doctor finds himself; Ace is all at sea.

Remember how I was complaining about a lack of answers yesterday? Well, the Doctor spends half of the narrative today wandering towards the Skete of Kandasi, with interludes lifted from The Stones of Blood (exit, pursued by a beast over a cliff), The Daleks (Much Ado About Jumping Across the Cliff)and The Five Doctors (Deadly Phantoms, which Shakespeare totally did too). Timewyrm: Apocalypse- Part I

The Doctor returns to a place he’s never been; Ace trusts a handsome stranger.

We go off Earth and into the far future for this story- possibly further than the series had ever been before at this point. Judging by the cover, Ace beers a blue person and gets menaced by a sea monster, but seems to be more worried about her seasickness. What do we find in a galaxy far, far away? Timewyrm: Exodus- Part IV

The Doctor dallies with a despot; Ace sees the dead among the living.

Doctor Who has always had a bit of trouble growing with its audience. Too much adult content and the kids get left behind; too little and they grow out of it too quickly.
